About Us

Brian Roberts is the President/CEO and founder of Aeroshare-Ventures, a company he founded out of a deep passion for aviation and a practical approach to aircraft ownership. His journey in aviation began on November 27, 1998, when he earned his private pilot certificate—a day he fondly recalls as life-changing. With the ability to soar the skies, Brian embarked on countless adventures with family and friends, exploring destinations only accessible through the freedom of flight.

Brian’s first aircraft, a 1969 Piper Cherokee 140, was a dream come true. He flew extensively throughout the western United States, frequently visiting places like Lake Havasu, Arizona, for family boating trips. His adventures also extended south of the border into Mexico, where he joined the “Baja Bush Pilots” flight club. With this group, Brian participated in unique events such as the Baja 1000, flying in a caravan of 15-20 planes down the Baja Peninsula to follow the race and experience unparalleled views of the course.

After several years with the Piper 140, Brian sought more speed and upgraded to a Mooney M20J 201. This high-performance, complex aircraft, capable of reaching speeds of 200 mph, brought a new level of excitement and capability to his flying. However, Brian soon realized the challenges of justifying sole ownership of such an incredible machine due to the limited hours it spent in the air versus in the hangar. This realization laid the foundation for Aeroshare-Ventures.

Frustrated by the high costs and inefficiencies of sole aircraft ownership, Brian envisioned a better way—a shared ownership model that would allow individuals to enjoy the benefits of owning a high-quality, low-time airplanes without shouldering the entire financial burden. Aeroshare-Ventures was born to make aircraft ownership more accessible, practical, and enjoyable.

Brian’s aviation journey is matched by his extensive business experience, which has been instrumental in shaping Aeroshare-Ventures. With decades of experience as both a pilot and aircraft owner, he is passionate about helping others achieve their aviation dreams. Brian’s dream and desire is to help others own their own aircraft while keeping time and resources available for other important aspects of life, such as hobbies, family, and friends.
