Aeroshare Scheduling Guidelines
Fair, Transparent, and Flexible Aircraft Access
Purpose
Scheduling under the Aeroshare program follows a "First-Come, First-Served with Limits" system. These guidelines ensure fair, transparent, and flexible aircraft access among co-owners while maintaining balanced utilization based on ownership level.
1Definitions
Standard UseTrips lasting 4 days or fewer.
Extended UseTrips exceeding 4 consecutive days (up to 7 days).
Prime WeeksHigh-demand travel periods such as EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, Thanksgiving, Christmas/New Year, and Spring Break.
2Annual Flight Hour Allocations

3Booking Rules – "First-Come, First-Served with Limits"
Advance Booking Windows
- •Standard Use: Up to 90 days in advance.
- •Extended Use: Minimum 30 days in advance.
- •Holiday / Peak Periods: Up to 6 months in advance; priority rotates annually.
- •Short-Notice Flights: Same day/week bookings are allowed if available.
Monthly & Consecutive Limits
- •1/4 Share: Up to 7 calendar days/month.
- •1/3 Share: Up to 9 calendar days/month.
- •1/2 Share: Up to 12 calendar days/month.
- •Weekend Limit: No more than 2 full weekends (Fri–Sun) per month.
- •Consecutive Days: Maximum 4 consecutive days without group approval.
- •Extended Trips: Require majority approval and at least 30 days’ notice.
- •Carryover: Unused hours do not roll over.

- ✓Extended trips must be booked via CrewChief and are subject to aircraft availability.
- ✓Overnight stays require secure, insured FBO or tie-down storage.
- ✓Late returns without valid cause result in a $300 per-day fee and loss of next-year extended-use priority.
- ✓Requests beyond the allotted count or duration require group majority approval.
Prime Week Allocation

Annual Draft RotationConducted each January; selection order rotates yearly.

Fairness ResetRepeat-year use of the same prime week is restricted.

Blackout RotationCertain peak weeks rotate annually among owners to ensure equal access.
